  3.   Family traditions and memories from User:LiRoGe88.

They apparently moved back and forth from PA. to MD. and from town to town as Emanuel, Charles' father, was found in Chaneysville, PA., Wolfsberg, PA, Rainsburg, and Bedford Bro. in PA, and Allegany Co. MD.

The reason for all the moving I understand is that his father leased mills for two or three years, and as the lease ran out he moved to another mill. Finally moving to Fayette Co. in 1891 and is found in Connellsville Twp. Fayette Co. PA. census of 1900 and 1910.

I can remember Uncle Charley as a thin man about 5'9" or 5'10" tall with a mustache. He was quiet, didn't have much to say. I only wish I would have been interested in the family history then, as his mind was sharp, and he could have told me many things that I am searching for now.
