CHARLES D. NEWTON* (Obed', Francis", Francis^, Phineas*, John^ John^, Richard'), son of Obed and Catherine (Bugbee) Newton of Hadley, Mass., was born there June 8, 1839, and died in 1899. He married Helen Thayer of Northampton, Mass. In 1900 she was living there, at Phillips Place, No. 50.
