- Last Will & Testament of Charles Lewis in tolerable good health and sound mind.
- to my son Charles, a negro Sam, furniture.
- To my son Zachariah, a negro Essex, furniture, a negro Delpha.
- To my son Edward a negro woman Phillis, bed and furniture.
- I lend to my son James Lewis during his life, negroes Dinah and Ransdom, at his decease to his children.
- I lend to my son John during his life negroes Ben and Frankey, at his decease to his children.
- To my son William, negroes Rogert, Anna, Polly and Jinney, two beds and all my tract whereon I now live, 300 acres more or less, except one acre to remain for the graveyard, also the plantation, all furniture and stock.
