1850 Census - Pennsylvania, Delaware County, Upper Darby - shows Chas. A. Kennedy, age 36 born in PA. His wife, Cath. A., age 32 and children Marion, age 12; E. Laura, age 7; A. A., age 1; there are two other people living in the household - Rob, age 64, this is probably Robert Kennedy, Charles' father. I could not read the name of the other person, female age 25. Everyone is born in PA.

1860 Census - Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Ward 1 - Charles E Kennedy, age 44 is an accountant; his wife Catharine A. is 42; Ellen L. is 19 and Andrew H. is 11. Everyone is born in PA.

1870 Census - Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Ward 24 shows Charles Kennedy age 55, clerk in the Navy Dept. Catharine is 50, Andrew is 20 and Joseph is 8.

1880 Census - Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, ED 496 shows Chas. Kennedy age 64 working in the Navy Yard. Catharine is 62, Andrew is 31, and Joseph is 17. Mary L. Green is 42 and is listed as Charles' daughter - I assume this is the Marion listed in 1850 and she married a Green. Her daughter Mary is 17 and is listed as Charles' granddaughter, she is a lithographer. Catharine Douglass is 30 and is a niece also a lithographer. Harry Douglass is 26, a nephew and is an auger maker.

KENNEDY, 72 yrs., 21 Jun 1887 Catharine E. KENNEDY, 72 yrs., 24 Sep 1892 Andrew J. KENNEDY, 80 yrs., 3 Apr 1920 Lawnview further says this lot was bought 10 Oct 1866 by William H. THOMPSON and transferred to Charles E. KENNEDY. There are three headstones on this lot. This lot is full.
