  A quiet home wedding was solemnized Tuesday, January 25, at Morganville, when Mr. Charles A. Fort, and contractor and builder of Atlantic Highlands, and Miss Ida H. Tunis, daughter of the late Joseph L. Tunis, were united in marriage. Because of the recent death of the bride's father, only the immediate relatives of the contracting parties were present. The ceremoy was performed by Rev. J. Huffman Batten of Matawan, assisted by Rev. John b. Hal? of Atlantic Highlands, after which an elegant wedding dinner was served. The future home of the happy couple will be in Atlantic Highlands, where Mr. Fort, a son of the last Rev. Jacob P. Fort of Newark Conference, is a highly respected citizen, and a prominent leader in the work of the Methodist Episcopal church.

  Charles A. Fort attended the Hobart memorial services at Paterson last Wednesday. The remainder of the week he spent with friends at Hamilton Square.

  R. S. Snyder, the newly-appointed postmaster at Atlantic Highlands, will take charge of the office on Saturday. The post office is now located in John E. Foster's building and it is not likely that there will be any change in its location. Some improvements will be made to the interior of the post office. ....
  Mr. Snyder has not fully decided on his office force. The position of assistant postmaster has been offered to Charles A. Fort, who was one of the condidates for the postoffice. Mr. Fort is considering the offer but no agreement has been reached. .....
