Charles FERGUSON, white, aged 9, born in New York, completed 4th grade of elementary school, attending school. 2002 - Niagara Gazette, Obituary: Charles H. "Chuck" Ferguson, 71, of Thrall Road, Town of Cambria, NY, died Monday, November 4, 2002 in Lockport Memorial Hospital. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on December 9, 1930, the son of Clyde H. and Bertha M. (Nickerson) Ferguson. Mr Ferguson moved to Cambria in 1943. He served with the U.S. Navy from 1951 to 1954 and then later graduated from Erie Technical School. He was a metallurgical engineer and sales representative for the former Simonds Saw and Steel Co., in Lockport from 1955 until 1980 and then a sales representative and metallurgical consultant with Houghton & Richards Co. in Marlboro, MA, from 1980 to 1996. In 1987, Mr Ferguson started the Cutting Tool Materials, Inc., in Cambria, where he did consulting and metallurgical analyst. He was an avid golfer, fisherman and bird watcher. Mr Ferguson was the husband of the late Gloria M. (Wright) Ferguson, who died in June of 2000. He is survived by two sons, Clyde H. (Priscilla) Ferguson and Henry J. (Marcella) Ferguson, both of the Town of Cambria, two daughters, Penelope (Daniel) Conway of Westport,NY and Cheryl A. Ferguson of the Town of Cambria. |
