Charles Edgar graduated from the Hospital College of Medicine, Louisville, Kentucky in 1891. His sponsor was his father, H.H. Fatherree, M.D. ("Annual Announcement with List of Graduates for 1890 of the Hospital College of Medicine", Page 18). According to Polk's "Annual of the Universal Medical Sciences" for 1893, he was practicing medicine inFloyd, Hunt Co., Texas. The American Medical Association shows him also practicing medicine in Abilene and then beginning August 1915 in Hawley, Jones County, Texas. The AMA records shows his death in Hawley,Sep. 1926, and his death certificate #33207, Taylor County, Texas, Sep 1, 1926, shows his mother to be Elizabeth Ford.
