This indenture made the Eleventh day of September , In the year of ourLord one thousand nine hundred and seven between James I Gougler andSusan, his wife, of the Borough of Mohnton in the County of Berks andthe State of Pennsylvania, parties of the first part and Charles P Corbitof the City of Reading in the same County and State as aforesaid party ofthe second part

     Witnesseth, that the said parties of the first part, and inconsideration of the sum of One Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars lawfulmoney of the United States of America, well and truly paid by the partyof the second part to the parties of the first part, at and before theensealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt thereof is herebyacknowledged., have granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfoeffed,released, conveyed, and confirmed by these presents, does grant,bargain,sell, alien, enfoeff, release, convey, and confirm unto the saidparty of the second part, his heirs and assigns,
   All certain lot or piece of ground, being lot No. 53, in a plan ofbuilding lots, laid out by James I. Gougler, November 8th 1906, togetheralong with the two story brick dwelling  house erected thereon in thevillage of Oakbrook, in the township of Cumru, County of Berks and Stateof Pennsylvania., bounded by and described as follows to wit, Beginningat a point Two Hundred Fourteen Feet, Eight Inches (214'8") East of theNorth Intersection of Wetherhill St. with the East building line ofAngelica St (undecipherable) thence north along the Eastern Boundary ofLot 52 for One Hundred Thirty  feet(130')to a point in a twenty foot(20')wide alley, thence Eastward along said alley and the Southern boundary ofLot 53 Twenty feet(20') to the Western Boundary of Lot 54, thenceSouthward along said lot 54, property of James I Gougler, One hundred andThirty feet(130')to a point on the North Building Line of saidWetherhill Street, thence Westward along said Wetherhill St Twentyfeet(20), to a point at the place of the beginning. Containing in fronton said Wetherhill Street Twenty feet(20') and in depth of equal widthOne Hundred Thirty feet(130')
      Being a part of the same premises which William R. Bertolet andAlvin D. Bertolet by the indenture bearing the date , 17th of NovemberA.D. 1906 did granted and convey unto James  I. Gougler, party hereto, infee, said indenture being recorded in Berks County Deed Book No. 340,page 561

Together with all and singular, the buildings, improvements, woods, ways,rights, liberties, privileges,hereditaments, and appurtenances to thesame, belonging, or in anywise appertaining, and the reversion andreversions, remainder and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof,and of every part thereof, AND ALSO all the estate, right, title,interest, property, possession, claim, and demand whatsoever, both in lawand equity, of the said parties of the first part of, in and to the saidpremises with the appurtenances.

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said premises with all and singular theappurtenances unto the party of the second part his heirs and assigns,to the only proper use, benefit and the behoof of the said party of thesecond part his heir and assigns forever

AND the said parties of the first part for themselves, their heirsexecutors, and administrators do and by these presents covenant, grantand agree to and with said party of the second part, his heirs andassigns forever that they the parties of the first part for themselvesand their heirs, all and singular the hereditaments and premises hereinabove described and granted or mentioned and intended so to be, with theappurtenances, unto the party of the second part, his heirs and assignsagainst them the said parties of the first part, their heirs andagainst all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfullyclaiming or to claim the same or any part thereof by, from or under him,her them or any other shall and by these presents warrant and foreverdefend.

In Witness Whereof  the said parties of the first part to these presentshave hereunto set their hand and seal Dated the day and year first abovewritten.
