    Charles W Chatterton
    Chas. W Chatterton was born in Cleveland, Ohio March 6, 1852 and departed this life at his home in Unionville, Iowa Feb 12, 1909, aged 56 yrs., 11 months and 6 days. He was married to Mary Jane McGee Feb 1, 1882. Eight children blessed this union, Mrs Chatterton having died April 26th, 1895. Mr Chatterton was united in marriage to Mrs Pauline Robb Nov 12, 1898. Two children came to bless this union but both died in infancy. Charley, as he was known by everyone, leaves to mourn their loss his wife, 5 children and 3 step children besides numerous friends. Funeral services were held at the methodist church in Unionville, Feb 13, conducted by Rev. Overturf assisted by Rev Carson and the remains were laid to rest in the Taylor Cemetery to await the resurrection morn. The bereaved family have the sympathy of their many friends.
