- Bedford Co., TN Court Records, November Term 1852
- This day a paper Writing purporting to be the last Will & Testament of Charity Allison dec'd late of Bedford County was produced in open Court and proved by the oaths of Edmund Cooper
and Josef T. Des__enbram? subscribing witnesses thereto, who depose & say that he became subscribing witnesses thereto, at the request of the testratrix, and the subscribed ___ in her presence and that they believed her to be of sound mind & disposing memory at the time they he became a witness thereto ~ And thereupon James P. Allison the Executor appointed in said will appeared in open Court and gave Bond in the sum of Twenty Thousand dollars with Wm. ___ & Allen N. McCord his securities, which Bond was duly acknowledged in open Court by the said James P. Allison & his said Securities, and by the Court approved.
- Thereupon the said James P. Allison was duly qualified as said Executor.
