February Term- 1845
The estate of John Lookabill was viewed by John Lenard, ( spelled as
taken ) George Byerly,David Conrad,and Philip Headrick.They allotted
Charity Lookabill,the widow of John the items listed below.
1- 25 bushels of wheat
2- 100 bushels of corn
3- 5 lbs of flax
4- 15 lbs of cotton
5- 2 cows and calves
6- 4 head of sheep
7- 14 head of gees
8- 1 water bucket
9- 1 dinner pot
10- 1 chopping axe
11- 50 lbs of coffee
12- 1 barrell of sourcrout
13- 20 yds of cloth
14- A lot of spun yarn
15- A lot of soap & soap grees
16- A lot of dried fruit
17- All the garden vegetables
All the above named articles were found on hand,and there not being
sufficient of the stock and provisions on hand to make a comfortable
provision for the said widow and family for a year we asset the
deficiency to the sum of $41.34, to be paid to the said widow by the
administrator of said John Lookabill.
