Celestia V Tiell, 96, formerly of W CR 6, New Riegel, died at 1:55 p.m. Sa turday, Jan. 31, 2004, in Autumnwood Care Center in Tiffin.

She was born Dec. 17, 1907, in Seneca CO to the late Anthony J and Eva Mar ie (Theis) Huss. She married Leo Michael Tiell, Feb. 23, 1933, in St. Boni face Catholic Church in New Riegel. He died in 1984. Surviving are: two sons, Father Florian R Tiell OFM Conventional, Mt. S t. Francis, Ind., and Robert S (Kathy) Tiell of Alvada; three daughters, M rs. Alfred E (Clara Mae) Brickner of Fostoria, Mrs. Robert (Ruth M) Feas el of Tiffin, and Alma C Kramer of New Riegel; 18 grandchildren and 19 gre at-grandchildren; three brothers, Cletus E Huss of Fostoria, Victor D Hu ss of Tiffin, and Lucian J Huss of Montoursville, Pa.; and a sister, Esth er C Wilson of New Riegel.

Preceding her in death were: her parents; husband; two infant sons; son-in -law, Paul Kramer; two grandchildren, John and Jean Feasel; two brother s, Marcellus "Butch" and Francis V Huss; and two sisters, Christine "Den a" Bell and Clara V Burkett.

Mrs. Tiell was a homemaker. She was a 1925 graduate of New Riegel High Sch ool. Mrs. Tiell was an avid Bingo player.

She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Frenchtown, and its Ro sary-Altar Society. Her other memberships included: Ministry of Praise, Co nfraternity of St. Francis, Catholic Knights of OH branch 52 of New Riege l, and life member of Women of the Moose 253 of New Riegel, Allen Eiry Sen ior Center, Inc., in Tiffin, New Riegel and McCutchenville card players.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Nichol as Catholic Church in Frenchtown with her son, Father Florian Tiell, grand son Father Ron Brickner, Pastor, Father Ron Shock, and great-nephew Fath er Scott Kramer, officiating. Burial will be in St. Nicholas Parish Cemete ry.

Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Hoening Funeral Home in Fostoria, a nd one hour prior to the mass at St. Nicholas, Frenchtown on Wednesday.

A CK of O memorial service will be 4 p.m. Tuesday, and a Christian wake se rvice will be 8 p.m. both at the funeral home.
