Information from March 2007, Fogleman Newsletter: Secelia’s obituary reads as follows: The Obituary - Fogleman dated 19 April 1923 (Thursday) for Celia appeared in the "Phillipsburg News." It read "Together with her husband and four small children she moved to Illinois, where they made their home for several years. Here the husand and two little daughters were laid to rest. Later Mrs. Fogleman with her four sons and one daughter moved to Kansas, homesteading land where she lived until the time of her death, April 9, 1923.

During this period of years two of her sons, Jerrome and Oscar, passed away and were laid to rest in Iowa Union cemetery. Two sons, Robert and William Fogleman of Phillipsburg, and one daughter, Mrs. Ella Kinsey of Naponee, Nebr., twelve grand children and seven great-grand children remain to mourn her loss.

It further reads, "Mrs. Fogleman confessed her faith in Christ and united with the Methodist church when but a child and lived a consistent Christian life. Thru all her bereavement of loss of husband and children, struggles of early pioneer life in Kansas and the raising of her children, she was sustained by her faith in God. Even in her last days of suffering, her patience and thoughtfullness for others was a marked characteristic of her nature."
