WILL: [Below are selected notes of Catherine's husband Peter's will - Howard Johnston note]

I give and Bequeath to my beloved wife Catherine the one Third part of all the profits of my Personal Estate and one third part of all the profits of the Sale or arising from the Sale of my Land or Plantation which John Leonard no lives on [which I Order To be sold or lett as my Exts. Shall after my Decease at any Time Think fit]  Also Her bed & bedding and All her Apperral or Clothing To be at Her Disposal During her Natural life and as or before her Death The Same.  Also the Third part of all sorts of Grain Raised on the place I Now live on: half an acre of flax - Every Year; one Third part of the profits of the Orchard; And free Liberty in the whole House as long as She Remains My widow or Continues (3 illegible words).  Also I give and bequeath to my said wife one Horse as she shall see fitt to Choose, her saddle and bridle and the Aditional Sum of one Third part of One Hundred Pounds which my Son hereinafter mentiontioned [sic] is to pay out of My Mansion House & Estate Devised to him To Dispose of the Same as She Sees Cause: and the Remainder to be Divided among my Daughters as herein after Mentioned.
