Catherine Rannie was born in 1790.2 She was the daughter of James Rannie and Catherine Mure.2 She married John Campbell Swinton of Kimmerghame, son of Archibald Swinton and Henrietta Blythswood, on 15 March 1809.1 She died in 1821.1
From 15 March 1809, her married name became Swinton.
