    QUAY 3 "There passed away at St. Andrew's Hospital, on Friday, a lady who had been a resident of Midland fifteen years ago in the persson of Mrs. Thomas Egan of Schepler [sic]. Mara township. Fifteen year s ago, after a residence of more than 5 years, she and her husband and her family removed to Orillia, where they remained for about five years before returning to Mara township...Some months ago the d eceased became unwell, and when an operation for appendicitis became imperative it was decided to bring her to St. Andrew's hospital.,,,
    The Late Mrs. Egan, whose maiden name was Catherine Ann McLean, was a member of a well known Mara Family, was fifty years old and was born in that township in 1871...."
