  1.   Catherine Brennan Roach was one of the Brennans who settled first in Beckwith, Lanark Co, then near Dornoch.

    In 1851 she was living on the lot adjoining John Brennan and Mary Rice in Beckwith, and in the 1865/66 Directory of Grey County her sons Thomas and Michael were across the road and just east of the Brennans near Dornoch.

    They were also next to John Priel, whose son Andrew Catherine's daughter Bridget Ellen married, and near John Sullivan, who her daughter Mary married.
