Daily Times-News, The Wednesday, January 23, 1974 Carrie Welch Mrs. Carrie ISLEY Welch, 64, of Rt. 6, Burlington, died in a Chapel Hill hospital Tuesday at pm. following a lengthy illness. A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Henry M. and Nannie Russell ISLEY, and the wife of the late Herman Kingsbury Welch, who died in January of 1972. She was a retired employe of Kayser-Roth Hosiery', and a member of the Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church Survivors are her stepson, John Herman Swepsonville; sister. Mrs. Evelyn ISLEY Boone. Burlington, brother, Wilson B. ISLEY, Rt. 6, Burlington; and two step-grandchildren Final rites will be 4 p.m. Thursday at the Mt Hermon United Methodist Church The Rev. Horace Lee McLaunn. pastor, will officiate Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will remain at the Rich and Thompson Funeral Home in Graham until taken to the church 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p m
