    Funeral services were held at the Hospers Presbyterian Church at 10:30 A.M., April 21 for Mrs. Ralph Vande Berg, 83, of Hospers, who died April 18 at the Orange City Municipal hospital.

    Services were conducted by the Rev. Robert Offerdahl and burial was in the Hospers Cemetery, with Vander Ploeg's Funeral Home of Sioux Center in charge of arrangements.

    Mrs. Vande Berg, the former Carrie Ganzevoort, was born October 7, 1891, in Hospers. She was married March 24, 1909, in Hospers. Mr. Vande Berg died March 24, 1972.

    Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. James (Magdaline) L. Van Berkum of Rock Valley, Mrs. Peter (Angeline) Zwagerman of Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Ted (Harriet) Van Zandbergen of Kearney, Nebr., Mrs. Clifford (Helen) Manson of Storm Lake and Mrs. John (Lavonne) Van Surksum of Sheldon, two sons, Harold of Rock Rapids, and Kenneth of Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother, John, of Sheldon; 20 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
