listed by Mabell Babion - Chesaning Michigan May 1951 Family Records Her first school in Dutchtown district, Manufactured the Babion Adominal Bandage which was used by many doctors and hospitals and for which she obtained a copyright on 29th Dec 1903. Had been ill all her life and was in hospital many times. she fell over the lawn mower, breaking her left arm and could never get it set and never recovered from the shock. Memebr of Chesaning Chapter # 151 and the St. Johns Episcopal Church.

Mrs. Carrie Babion, 67, wife of Pere Babion a long time resident of Chesaning, died Sunday night in Memorial Hospital, Owosso, where she was taken a short time ago after fracturing her shoulder in a fall at her home here. She was a native of Saginaw county. Besides her husband she leaves two brothers, William Atherton of Saginaw and Albert Atherton of Bridgeport. The funeral will take place at 2:30 PM tuesday at the Walker funeral home. Rev. Percy Isherwood will officiate and burial will be at Wildwood.

In spite of this she was cheerful and she was very dear to many....During the last two years her eyesight had become impaired..While teaching at Dutchtown school, she became acquainted with Peter J. Babion and they were married December 19, 1894. She was survuved by her husband, 2 brothers, William of Saginaw and Bert of Bridgeport. she was a member of the St. John's Espiscopal church and the Chesaning chapter of O.E.S...." contact A.S.
