Obituary of Mrs. Caroline Bous (sic) Massillon Evening Independent, Tuesday 6th September 1898 Mrs. Caroline Bous, a former resident of this city, died atOrrville on Saturday. The funeral took place on Monday at 2 pmfrom St. Paul's Church, the Rev. L.H. Burry officiating.

Caroline was probably born in Germany. She and husband John andson Jacob were settled in Massillon, OH by 1889. Son Jacobwas born in 1867 in Germany. Son George was born in Massillon,OH in 1873, putting the family'sarrival to America sometimebetween 1867 and 1872/73. My guess is the late 1860's.
