  4. Carl E. Wampler died at his home after a short illness following surgery of the bowels. He contracted a blood problem as a result of the surgery and died within a couple of weeks. He was cared for at home by his wife, Olive, anddaughters Mabel, Amy, Charlotte, Eva and other relatives.
