Carl (Shorty) Reinheimer Shorty Reinheimer dashed about in boyhood years attending school, working at Guthrie's drug store and appeared on public programs as pianist and clarinet player. He was a member of the Boy Scout band. Following high school graduation, young Reinheimer enlisted in the US Navy, during the World War serving as radio operator. he returned to the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Reinheimer of 1931 North street, following his discharge and then left for Detroit where he enrolled in an automobile school, later applying the knowledte that he gleaned in an automobile concern at Tulsa, Okla. He re-enlisted in the navy for four years conncetcing with the radio bureau at Washington, D.C. Floowing his second honorable discharge, Carl went to Tampa, Fla., eleven years ago, marying in that state. He is associated now as construction engineer for Standard Oil company, a capacit that he has filled for two years. His affiliations include membership in the Elks lodge and a German Club. From the Tampa Tribune REINHEIMER Mr. Carl O. Reinheimer, 77 of Route 2, Box 1500, Lutz, Florida, passed away Saturday evening. Private funeral services will be held. The family requests that flowers please be omitted and contributaions be made to the American Cancer Society, 2708 West Kennedy Blvd., tampa 33609 in his memory. Survivors include his wife, Mrs Lois Reinheimer, 2 daughters, Mrs. Harriet L. Stairs and Mrs. Carlene L. Yarnot; 2 grandsons, Paul and Todd Stairs, and 1 granddaughter, Caryn Yarnot, all of Lutz, Florida; F.T. Blount Company Funeral Home, 5101 Nebraska Avenue, in charge of arrangements.
