OLSON, Carl, age 77 years, beloved husband of Mrs. Helen Olson, 1915 C Street, passed away at a local hospital, Monday, January 27, (1947) following a lingering illness. Mr. Olson had been a resident of Bellingham for the past twenty-five years and before his illness was the proprietor of the Oakland Hotel. He was a member of the F. O. E. Aerie No. 252, of Hoquiam, Wash. Surviving relatives include, beside the widow, one brother, Dr. Olaf Olson, Chicago, Ill., and a step-son, Donovan Sackett, and two granddaughters, Bellingham. The remains are at the Bingham-Dahlquist Funeral Home, where funeral services will be conducted February 1, at 3 p. m. with Elder A. J. Gordon officiating. Burial in Woodlawn.
