I, Caleb Thayer of the Town and County of Otsego and State of New York being in good health and in sound mind do make, publish, and declare this my last will and testament in manner following to wit:  First I give, devise and bequeath to my wife Harriet Amelia Thayer all the farm of land with the buildings thereon situated in the Town and County of Otsego and state of New York as conveyed to me by Adam Forward and his wife by deed dated November 1, 1866 and recorded in the Clerks office of Otsego County in Book No. 140 of deeds on page 37480 to which deed on the record item of reference is made for a ______ as description through and the sorts_____ and during the time of her natural life and from and after the decease of my said wife I give, devise and bequeath said farm and its appurtenances to Frank Alfred Thayer, Henry Caleb Thayer,  George Crittenden Thayer and Charles Ichabod Thayer, children of my son William Alfred Thayer equally share and share alike.
