  3. The parents of Bunyan have not been conclusively identified. A Mose Smith administrated the estate of Jesse Gale, and one may suspect he is a brother of Jesse's wife Mary (Smith) Gale. He also administered the estate of Bunyan, so one would suspect Bunyan might be from the same family.
