Bridget Murphy's dates of birth, marriage and death are unknown. She had seven children with her husband Dennis Kelly between 1823 and 1843, suggesting that she was probably born between about 1798 and 1808. Her children were all baptised in the adjoining Catholic parishes of Monasterevin and Athy in County Kildare, Ireland. Bridget must have died before 10th October 1883, as her husband Dennis was described as a widower at his death.

   All the death certificates for Bridget Kellys of roughly the right age dying in the Athy Registration District (which covers both Athy and Monasterevin) between the start of civil registration in Ireland in 1864 and Dennis's death in 1883 have been obtained. None appears to be her.
