LOCAL WOMAN DIES LAST EVENING AT THE AGE OF 59-

Mrs. Blanche M. Dipboye died at 8 o'clock Sunday night at her home at 1314 South Anderson street. Death was caused by a complication of diseases. Mrs. Dipboye was born April 2, 1882, four and a half miles south of Elwood, the daughter of William and Josephine Noland. On November 9, 1899, she was married to Oliver Dipboye. She resided in Elwood her entire life. For a number of years Mrs. Dipboye's husband was deputy trustee of Pipecreek township. Survivors include the husband and four daughters: Mrs. Verl Samuels of Gary; Miss Ruth Dipboye of Iowa City, Ia.; Miss Dorothy Dipboye of Logansport; Miss Helen Dipboye at home; two grand-children and one brother, Ray Noland of Elwood. Mrs. Dipboye was a member of the First Methodist church, Eastern Star and the Busy Bee club. The body has been taken to the Copher and Fesler funeral home and will be returned to the residence this evening. Funeral services will be held at the church at 3:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon with Rev. Samuel L. Yoder, pastor, in charge. Burial will be made in the city cemetery.
