Foster daughter of Charlie’s sister Lizzie, whose husband was her guardian. She was the daugther of Charles and Jeannette Royer (presumably related to her husband’s father’s family), and came to live with the Royers after her mother died when she was 10.

She and her daughter Marion visited Joplin, and Gertrude Broadley Bingham was visiting them when she met her second husband Grant Rickerd.

She died at the home of her daughter Mildred, having been an invalid for 9 years due to a stroke.
