Beverly Merlene Davidson, age 80, of Bean Station, was born on October 5, 1934 and went to be with the Lord on April 28, 2015. She has joined her loving husband, Rev. Carson Davidson; parents, John and Hazel (Laughner) Hayes; brothers, Arnold, Kenny and Larry Hayes; sister, Carolyn Hayes.
She was a member of Dry Valley Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Crystal Davidson; grandchildren, Karlene and Chuck Webb, Darwin and Morgan Jarnigan of Morristown; two great-grandchildren, Abrienne and Reagan Jarnigan; brother, Kevin Hayes of Bean Station; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2015, with funeral services to follow at 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Rev Gene Bowlin and Rev Chris Hayes will be officiating. The Myers Family will sing.
Family and friends will meet in Hamblen Memory Gardens on Friday at 10:50 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. Pallbearers will be: Chris, Jordan and Paxton Hayes, Chuck Webb, Rev Stanley Carpenter and Junior Sizemore. Arrangements by Stubblefield Funeral Home in Morristown.
