Bio: Beaurry Scrivens
Beaurry Scrivens, 59, of 635 E. Third St., died at 10:30 Monday at Greene Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient since Nov. 19.
The son of Alexander and Daisy Craine Scrivens, he was born April 27, 1907.
He is survived by his mother of Xenia; his widow, Lollie; two sons, Irvin of Buffalo and John of Warren; a daughter, Mrs. Paul Harding of Xenia; three brothers, Daniel of Xenia, Saunders of Springfield, and Branley of Xenia; 16 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was a member and trustee of Middle Run Baptist Church and a member of St. James F&AM. He was employed at Morris Bean and Co.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Winfrey Funeral Home, 335 E. Market St. Services will be held at the Middle Run Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Thursday, with burial in Cherry Grove Cemetery.
