(From The Newark Advocate, May 5, 1952) Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Oliver, 41 North Pine Street, observed their 25th wedding anniversary by holding open house from 2 to 5 p. m. Sunday in their home. 

 The table was centered with 25 red roses the gift of their son, and a profusion of spring flowers was used throughout the rooms.  The wedding of Miss Beulah Plants and E. F. Oliver took place in Pt. Pleasant, W. Va.  They have three children, Russell Oliver of 39 North Pine Street; Airman Third Class, David H. Oliver of Tacoma, Wash. and Carol of the home.

 Assisting at the reception which was attended by 50 guests were Mrs. George Adkins of Lancaster and Mrs. Gaylord Simpson.  Out of town guests included the Rev. Russell L. Plants of Oneonta, N. Y.; Mrs. Mary F. Plants and Delbert Underwood of Cheshire, O.; Mrs. Raymond Adams and Mr. and Mrs. Owen Plants and Wilbur Plants of Pt. Pleasant, W. Va.
