Helen Saines Of Jackson, formerly of Blackman Township, passed away on December 23, 2004 at the age of 89. She is survived by two nieces, Shirley (Myong-il) Chu of Jackson and Frances (Phillip) Smith of Phoenix, AZ; also several other nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; brother, Floyd J. (Shirley J.) Cunningham; sister, Eva Mae (Ronald) Phelps; and her parents, James and Bessie Cunningham. She worked many years at S.H. Camp Co. and after retiring she helped her husband in the carpet cleaning business. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. Services will be held from Wetherby Funeral Chapel, Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor M.E. Walworth, Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Woodland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and also at 1:00 p.m. until time of service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Calvary United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 925 Backus, Street, Jackson, Michigan 49202.
