Bessie O. Martin, 91, of Maple Mountain Manor, Berlin, formerly of Somerset RD 5, died July 30, 1988, in the manor. Born in Jennings,Md., May 18, 1897, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dorsey M.Harvey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry D., and one son, Earl; also by 12 brothers and sisters. She is survived by anumber of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be conducted Wednesday at 10 a.m., the Rev. Ralph G. Landis officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
