Bernard was born around 1673, the eldest of nine childen of Pierre GAUDET & Anne BLANCHARD. At the age of 20 years he married Jeanne THE'RIAULT, daughter of Claude & Marie GAUTREAU; eight children. He was buried at Port-Royal on 17 Mar 1751.
