Notes for BERTHA HANSDTR GRESJMOEN GAUSTAD: by Linda Swanson Beret, also known as Bertha in the United States, had seven children, five of whom were living in 1910.

She could read, write and speak Norwegian only. All their children could speak, read, and write English. Bertha died at the age of sixty-five years, seven months and two days. Funeral services were held at her home and at the United Norwegian Church in North Menomonie. She is buried in the old section of Evergreen Cemetery where burials were done as they occurred. Her plot is located in Row 7 Plot #33.
