    Yale:334-35.

    Note: on p. 334: "Benjamin Throop ... was born June 9, 1712,*"
The footnote indicated by the asterisk, found on p. 335, is: "Benjamin Throop was born on January 9, 1712, being the son of William Throop Y.C. 1743). His own marriage was on November 27, 1735. Dexter, Yale Graduates, 4:745." Dexter printed this as part of a correction whose main purpose seems to be to correct a misidentified mother and changing the relationship of Benjamin to Rev. William Throop to half-brother instead of brother. His original entry on p. 1:514 where he made those errors, gives the birthdate as "June 9, 1712", not the "January 9, 1712" found in the correction. There is no indication if there was any intent to correct the birthdate, certainly no mention of a basis for a different date, or if the discrepancy was merely the result of a typo, which given the agreement of the other sources on the June date, it appears to be.
