Benjamin Stockton was the only child of David and Margaret Hayden Stockton, and was a grandson of Richard and Agnes Stockton, Sr. Benjamin's great-grandfather was Davis Stockton of Albemarle County, Virginia.
It appears that Benjamin had two families at the same time.
