Findings of the KY Railroad commissioners 1890 following complaints by the users: There is reason for complaint in the lack of depot buildings for the accommodation of passengers at Columbus. Heretofore passengers have had shelter and fire in a small room by the sufferance of the company’s agent (p.s. i.e. Benjamin Montgomery Monroe). This should be remedied and the company should erect a building suitable for the accommodation and comfort of its patrons. This Mr. McLaren, General Manager engages shall be done forthwith. [9]Babo
