After a long period of patient suffering, Benjamin R. Anderson passed away, April 7th, at 8 a.m. at his home, corner [of] East Market and Fredrick streets. Mr. Anderson's ailment was consumption, and he sat up much of Wednesday and encouraged to the point of taking an early departure to California. He leaves a wife and three young children and his mother, and a sister and a brother survive him. Deceased was 33 years of age. He was a Warren boy, born here, educated in the schools and was an exemplary citizen. He served for seven years as a U.S. mail clerk in the railway service, having had runs on the Alliance & Northern, the Ft. Wayne and Erie
