Immediate Family. Beneke was the son of Beneke Grawert. He had three siblings: Gödert, Margrete, and Alheit. With wife Metke Langwer he had three children: Ilsche, Catrine, and Metke.

3.   DISCREPANCY: The information provided by the two sources doesn't quite correlate. S1 suggests Gödert is older, S2 supplies estimated dates that say Beneke is older. S1 suggests Groß Nenndorf as birth village, S2 gives nearby Klein Nenndorf. If S1 is correct, then Beneke was likely born between 1521 and 1527.
