Knight, Beatrice (16 SEP 1932)

A pretty wedding took place at the Congregational Parsonage, Friday noon of last week, when Mr. Orville Thorson of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Thorson, was united in marriage to Miss Beatrice Knight, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Knight of Curtiss (Clark Co.). Rev. W.P. Powell performing the ceremony. The contracting parties were attended by Mr. Alvin Thorson, Jr., brother of the groom, and Miss Selma Knight, sister of the bride. Following the ceremony the wedding party went to the home of the bride’s parents where a wedding dinner was served and a reception held. The bride for some time past has been employed in Owen, and the groom is assistant to his brother in the Withee Meat Market. Both young people are popular in the younger set, and have the well wishes of the relatives and friends for a happy wedded life. A short wedding trip to the north and eastern part of the state was made where they visited with relatives. They will make their home in Owen.
