Basile PRÉJEAN, born in 1744, son of Joseph & Marie-Louise COMEAUX of Chipoudy, Acadia. Basile was in Louisiana in 1766. He married around 1768 to Marie-Josephe GODIN dit LINCOUR; three children. Basile in 1769 occupied lot number 31 on the west bank of the Mississippi at St. James parish. He died on 4 Nov 1805 [sic].
Also: Pierre [sic] PRÉJEAN, born around 1750, "Probably" the son of Joseph & Marie-Louise COMEAUX of Chipoudy, Acadia. He married around 1772 to Marie-Josephe GODIN [no parents given]; son Louis born 1773. He was at Ascension [parish, LA].
