"BASIL I. GLADIEUX, 62, of Pacifica, Calif., formerly of Fort Wayne, died Sunday at Veterans Administration Medical Center, Pacifica. A native of Fort Wayne, Mr. Gladieux formerly owned an upholstery business. He was coordinator for the John Birch Society in northern California and was a World War II Navy veteran. Surviving are his wife, Tess; three sons, Jed, of Boulder, Colo., Todd, of Lakeport, Calif., and Kary, of Pacifica; two brothers, Richard L., of New Haven, and Adrian J., of Fort Wayne; one sister, Monica O'Connor, of Fort Wayne; and four grandchildren.
