Barbara Klemme, 66, of Iowa Falls, died on November 4, 2014 at her home in Cedar Ridge in Iowa Falls. Funeral services will be on 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 8th, 2014 at the Immanuel Memorial U.C.C. in Alden with burial to follow in Union Cemetery in Iowa Falls. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Friday at the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls.

Barbara Louise Klemme was born on December 11, 1947 in Iowa Falls to Claude and Eva (Schultz) Brass. Barbara graduated from Iowa Falls High School in 1966. On November 8, 1975, Barbara was united in marriage to Frank Klemme in Alden. She and Frank farmed together. Barbara enjoyed her bowling league, card clubs and making crafts. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and her friends. She was a Girl Scout Troop Leader, a school volunteer and she was involved with the Ladies Fellowship at the Immanuel Memorial U.C.C. in Alden. Barbara was also involved with Relay for Life as she was a 15 year cancer survivor herself.

She is survived by her daughters Rebecca Klemme (Dennis) Eliceiri of St. Louis, MO, Glenda (Paul) Smith of Owatonna, MN and Janet Klemme of Ames and her grandchildren Abby and Owen Smith and Madeline Eliceiri.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her brother Robert Brass.
