Barbara Catherine Aubrey was born in July 1637, in Glamorgan, Wales, her father, William Richard Aubrey III, was 27 and her mother, Elizabeth Vaughton, was 47. She married John Bevan in 1664, in Wales. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 7 daughters. She died on 26 November 1710, in Llantrisant, Glamorgan, Wales, United Kingdom, at the age of 73.
