Baker Johnson Lamar is my great-grandfather and there were stories told in the family about a possible marriage prior to the one to my great-grandmother, Emily (Emma) Johnson Lamar. One day in the late 1900's or early 2000's this came up with another family researcher who then located the Frederick County lawsuit and a deposition which tells the story.
