Notes

Azariah Bostick lived and died in Kent County, Maryland. A letter written by his son Shadrach in October 1833 makes it clear that Azariah was the 4th son of James Bostwick, and that his eldest brother was also James. He was a cordwainer. Azariah Bostick received a 1 acre plot titled "Spring garden" from his mother and her husband John Abbott by a deed dated 4 May 1763.
