    Middletown-Augustus B. VanAlst, 64, retired farmer and life resident of the Pine Bush area, died yesterday (Wednesday) at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Peter Kelly, 76 Wawayanda avenue, Middletown, after a long illness. Born in Pine Bush on Oct. 7. 1894, he was the son of the late Moses and Frances Decker VanAlst. His wife, the former Edna Deyo, died last October . Surviving besides his daughter, are a brother, Joseph VanAlst, Walden and three grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be conducted from the DeWitt Funeral Home in Pine Bush on Saturday at 2 p.m. with the REv. Leslie D. Bartlett, pastor of the Graham's United Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will be in the Brick Church Cemetery in Montgomery. Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow (Friday) evening.
