DNA testing through William Morrow/Sarah Caldwell line links to to NC Irish II, despite the South Carolina/Kentucky origins -- assuming a correct paper trail, it is therefore not related to any other South Carolina Morrows that have been tested. However, there is a William Morrow who fits to be this man’s son in Abbeville, SC, next to his widow, in 1810. Separately, the migration pattern of William m. Sarah Caldwell matches the son of William Morrow d. 1828 in Warren Co, TN - who was in Barren Co, KY in 1810. There may therefore not be a DNA link.

Will names wife Elizabeth, son John, son William, grandsons James Linn Morrow and Arthur Blain Morrow (sons of Arthur [who is still alive, based on reference later to “my three sons”]), daughter Mary Cooper, son-in-law James Morrow. Dated June 4, 1807; presented for probate Oct. 20, 1807. (Abbeville County, South Carolina, Will Book 1, pages 347-348.)

Dau Jane m. James Wilson, Margaret m. James Cochran and James Cooper, Mary m. Robert Stuart.
